Question lexus Ls intake sensor mod 20 +hp

Have you all seen this for sale on line?

This intake sensor modification. Will fit just about any car, Can easily Be installed in less than 5 Minutes. This modifies your stock ecu with a resistor. This will give you !12-20 extra horsepower and more torque. You don't need any experience, Just 5 minutes of your time. Yes, it does work. I Installed one on my car and I can tell a great difference in first and second gears, as well as a higher top speed. This works with your Stock Ecu making it think that the air coming through the intake is cold air which advances the timing to 5-6 degrees. Which makes the engine produce more power. This modification does just about the same thing that Ecu Upgrades and Jet Chips do, WHY PAY? $300-$400? When you can buy this much cheaper. I will also give a Guarantee on this, if your modification breaks, I will send another one free. Please e-mail me if you have any questions or concerns before bidding on it. Add hp.the inexpensive way . Make your car run stronger and more powerful !!!!

I did not wish to incert the ebay link.

it works but it is an old trick and you dont have to pay that guy to do it. there are two ways to do it one way is to re-route one of the hoses on your intake manifold. the second is to wire a resistor inline with the temperature sensor. what it does is trick the ecu to think the temperature of the engine is lower than it acctually is so that it bumps up the amount of fuel being put in. basically the car thinks it is a cold winter morning all the time and richens up the fuel mixture.

Of course it richens up the mixture for about 2-3 seconds until the O2 sensor detects the condition and then immediately trims the fuel back to compensate. I am afraid it is not that simple on feedback controlled engine management systems. The engine will run at stoichiometric, 14.7:1, regardless of all the fiddling you do, fuel pressure, sensor mods, whatever.

additude and to all

I am NOT a dealer for anything just a LEXUS lover like the rest of you. Saw this on eBay and was wondering if you all had any info on it, I'm clueless. There are several differnt people selling MOD on ebay that I never heard off. I fogured most of them were bogus but had no info on them.
