What did you have to do to your fenders to get those wheels to fit? It seems some wheels i found are .5" larger than yours and i was wondering what i would have to do to get them to fit.

i have the tanabe springs and 19's, i like the way it sits....but... kinda thinking stance is a bit off... 2. and 1.8 i think would be better. Prolly ganna swap out for coilovers.

Default Best drop on springs

Yes I've searched for this.

What is the best drop on springs?(lowest) I've seen the tanabes and they seem to be the lowest (1.8 and 1.5?) the eibach don't have a sport line and the pro kit aren't low enough. Anyone else dropped on just springs?

Also, how strong are the stock struts? Will they be able to handle a 2" drop or are they going to be pooched pretty quick?

Thanks.

Edit; it's a 91 LS400

last i checked they dont make the bilsteins for the 1LS. besides that, tanabe+Bilstein is a poor choice imo because the dampers are working wayy out of spec. I actually contacted Bilstein about them and when i gave them the DF210 specs (length+spring rate) they told me as such

1. coilovers are goingto be your best option to get the LOWEST drop on the 1LS plus you will have the added benefit of versitile adjustability(depending on which coilover set you get).

2. Stock struts will blow VERY easily with low drops. You are already geting the springs and you will have to disassemble the strut assembly, just replace the struts while you have them apart.

3. Genetic,,,, Bilstein makes NOTHING for the 1LS so thisis not even an option.

Not sure if you guys saw my intro thread, but this is my daily run around/winter vehicle. I was trying to avoid buying coils, but I'm not full against it!

Anyone down 2"?

What kind of camber do these cars pull with just the drop? Inch to degree ratio, if anyone knows.

I have a weird feeling my stock struts are close to the end anyways, I bought the car yesterday and I'm gonna get the majority of work done on it before it's licensed and driving.

Suggestions on Coils?

Since this is going to be your daily,,,

Struts/springs,,,$600-$700
Megan coilovers,,,,- $800- $900 (cheapest, good coils for LS)

Neither of these prices include install.

LI_celsior has megans on his car and I am sure that he will chime in.
