Default Should I save another ?

Hey guys. I rescued a 1990 celsior from being trashed a couple of years ago. Drove her for a couple years then passed her on.

I found another that is about to stripped of its engine and trans. What do you guys think ?

Clearly needs a new coil and leads as it's missing on 4 cyls

These are becoming increasingly rare and expensive here in AU as the motors gain more notoriety.

sounds like you just need to keep a bucket with gas petrol in the car and it'll work lol... seems like it recently got some attention under the engine bay and it has a completely working full interior, looks like a potentially nice project here

Haha I believe so!!
id ditch the air suspension like I did on my last one. They are so costly to repair at 30 years of age.

If I can do a timing belt on one I'm sure I can pull out a fuel tank.......right 😐

The only issue I have is that's it's that bloody blue interior I can't stand. Leather wasn't very common on the celsior tho so that makes her a bit more unique

The interior looks grey to me. How can you tell? I vote yes to save it if you have the space for it.

1990 in question

yea a single air strut would like total the car, unless it were in near immaculate shape to begin with i'd probably switch to regular springs as well

Owner sent some interior pics. Not perfect . I just hate seeing things die and get stripped down. Less and less around every month it seems.

Ok I asked the owner to do a compression test for me. I'll do my own if I decide to pick it up too. Will let you guys know.

If compression is good I'll save her.

I never seen a blue one like that. You might learn to appreciate it.
