Default School Me

I currently got a 91 ls400 model and I’m not the most adept in cars but I want to build it up . It currently has 16400 miles , but it needs new brakes , rotors , and a coolant leak it has me thinking of starting from scratch . I’m asking if anyone can school me on what is best for this model to run like new . I aspire to vip my thing out.

Or even letting me know where to start whether I need to start from square one or if I could work with what I got . I don’t know if I’m on budget to have the top of the line parts , but I do want thorough solid parts to put into to this beauty . I’m not looking to turn this car into no rally car or no race car . I just want to turn into a bossed up late night cruiser with some nuts.

If I were you i would start with everything mechanical before touching anything cosmetic. These are solid built vehicles to say the least but it does not help if the maintenance has not been kept up with. After that is all sorted out I would start putting money into the suspension, wheels, etc. A proper VIP build will NOT be a cheap endeavor

if VIP is the goal then why bother with the mechanicals? clearly he's not looking for the top luxury experience
