I've been looking around for parts for the LS recently. I've seen a bunch of parts that people have put up for sale on this site, Ebay, and some people have been finding ways to order from Up Garage in Japan as well. What's your ideas for the car?

Plenty of threads out there on this forum, so searching will aid you immensely. Also the quality of parts will vary on your budget as well.

always start with a solid platform when 'building'. it's pointless to have a nice looking car which has problems idling, starting, or driving!
solid means a sound car with up to date maintenance, in good running condition.
buy a car that leaves you with enough budget to do these routine maintenance work done first, then worry about getting wheels, a decent drop, and some minor exterior mods later.

keep in mind these cars are very old and thus cheap. great you say, but the body kit or wheels you see on yahoo auctions japan will cost the same amount as the ENTIRE car!
are you ready for that?
