i have a 08 is-f and i think i am missing a part in the trunk under the trunk floor on top of the spare tire.. can somone lift there trunk floor and snap a pic of the spare or tell me if there is any type of foam or plastic part in between the spare tire and the trunk floor, or does the trunk floor just rest directly on the spare?

 

I don't have a pic, but are u talking about under the carpet? If so, mine goes like this:
Trunk carpet, hard cardboard looking piece (with handle), tire. Hope this helps. If your carpet is resting on the tire, then yes you are missing a piece. Like I said, there is a handle towards the rear of said piece.

 

i have the carpet then the hard cardboard then tire.. i thought there was a foam or plastic part on top of the spare for the cardboard to rest on, i guess not..

 

After the "hard cardboard part with handle" I also a black piece of U shaped foam.

 

I have a green foam piece that sits on top of my spare tire.
