Trunk hatch wont close
I popped the trunk for my 94 LS400 and for some reason it wont latch close anymore. I fiddled with it a little bit and from what i can tell the electric trunk release still functions properly. The latch seems to be moving freely back and forth within the assembly. Ive read that the trunk latch is operated electronically to open and mechanically to close. Is there any way I can take the trunk latch assembly off without damaging the wiring harness in the trunk and fix the assembly? Or should i just buy another assembly?
