Just joined up, purchased a '92 LS400 that just turned 100,000, a two owner with 100% dealer service from day one. Only two minor issues that I can find with the car, prior owner had Michilin winter/snow tires on it and I'm replacing these with 16" wheels with from '94 LS and new Michlin MXV4 Plus tires. The second thing is that it appears to be ideling higher then normal. This situation is accross the board, with A/C on or off, in neutral, drive and reverse. Any cure for the higher then normal idle? I suspect my best bet is to take it to the Lexes dealer but I'm open to suggestions. Thanks, Four Door.

 

Found out from other source that the engine needs to warm up for about 4-5 minutes and the high idle will then drop to about 600 rpm. Four Door.
