high idle!
After driving for awhile, a typical drive. I noticed when I come back to my garage, and put the car in park.. a few things might happen.
1. The idle will go up to 1000 rpm and gently settle down to 500rpm after 5 minutes or so.
2. Sometimes it kicks up to 1100 rpm almost 1200 rpm and stays up there for awhile. I havent timed it. But this isnt typical of my car. I'm really scared because my car used to be like a clock, now its doin wierd things.
It used to just go down below 1000 rpm in neutral or park, but now it stays up for awhile eventhough the car is warmed up. Any ideas? the car is a 1991 LS400 with 167k
I'm thinking I might need a tuneup or sometin.. i'm getting scared
