Default Newbie needs info

Hey guys, Let me introduce myself. My name is Ian K and i live in Jacksonville Florida. I am 17 going on 18 and am in the market for a new car, im just getting tired of the Cressida. I love it and plan on owning another later on in my life, but for now i want something a little different. My dad owns a 01 GS430 and we absolutely love it. I have been looking into the earlier model LS400's ie: 91-95. I just wanted to know what things to look for when looking at a potential buy. Any certain equipment to stay away from or anything you guys want to tell me. I would love any and all information about anything about the car. What are some good springs? I was looking for around a 2" drop and i plan on running 18" wheels eventually. Any inputs? Thanks alot

Ian K

My first Lexus was a pre-owned 93 LS400 with 54,000 miles. I traded it around 96,000 miles without a single problem so very reliable. The only suggestion that I have is try to find a LS with good maintenance records.
