Guibo/Flex Disk Damage
Id say this one has a good 5-6k miles in it before I need to replace it.
Hey guys. Just thought Id post the state of the flex disk on my 1990. Is this how they age or does this look like something has damaged it? Anyone have a part number handy for ordering a replacement??
how many miles are on your car and how do u drive it? like u stole it or are u easy on the car?

It's not too low. It's above the exhaust. I'm guessing it's just splitting due to age. Something could have been ran over and got thrown up into it also. Oem price is steep for this part.
dont go cheap on this..i wouldnt put a dorman part in there is they paid me to put it in

I replaced mine on 99LS a few years ago, at 207K miles (258K now). I did get OEM ones, old ones looked pretty good, but I was changing the diff. bushings, had diff . dropped and decided to replace flex bushings since the prop shaft was dropped. Wish I replaced the center bearing when I was there, have slight humming noise over 80mph, but maybe its tires...
