The second gens do stop quite well. The ABS does a good job when you get on it. With summer tires pretty surprising how nicely it stops. 60-0 is under 120 feet, that's decent in the day and acceptable today. Good pad compound, rotors and tires may yield a slight improvement. The sporty cars are at the 100 foot range so yeah, 120 can seem longish.
