As far as I'm aware, you can't get amber corner lenses for 1998-2000 models. I guess you're going for the Mercedes-Benz look(?).
However, if you want to do that mod, the best way is to put a vinyl wrap over them. It's pretty cheap, and it's reversible. Here's an example wrap. You'll have to check the measurements.
Painting the lenses can be tricky, resulting in poor light output.
