getf, when you get the car you should check to see if you've got all the pieces of the trunk toolkit, and see if any previous owners left anything cool in there. CELSI0R pointed out a while ago that mine is missing a little pen light. Also, you've got a set of the optional floor mats- standard was all one color and that's what mine had. Here's yours, the middle option:

And of course the top level floor mat option was this floral pattern- I'm waiting for a set to come up on Yahoo Auctions Japan but they're very rare. Adjusted for inflation and currency conversion these cost about $1700, so I'm sure the take rate was not very high!
Heh, nice touch that the car had them! Really like the tiger stripe pattern. Thanks for the pics.
Not sure that they'll end up making their way to me. Things that aren't nailed down have a habit of walking away on RoRo shipping...

EDIT: If they haven't been already, are you going to have the original stereo and CD cartridge shipped to you as well? Those would be nice to have.

I also noticed your car has different horns than what the LS models were given. 1990 LS 400 models had a Denso disk horn and 1991-1994 models had Denso snail horns. Your car has some other Denso disk horn; they would be interesting to hear.
I thought about it, it would be certainly cool to have. My Skyline still has its JDM radio here in the states. and the FM band tops out around 89.0... lets just say that the novelty has worn off...
I've sent the oem radio to the Ecycler, but UCF10/11 radios aren't too hard to find on yahoo auctions or rakuten if I ever change my mind.
The car was wired for a backup camera in Japan.

So i'll be throwing in this Sony AA/ACP head unit when I get a chance...

I've actually looked at that same unit a few times, though I'm pretty happy with the stock head unit as I don't make much use of the radio apart from our local public radio station on the low end of the band. If you get it installed do post some pictures, I'd like to see how that looks.

Hope I'm not hijacking this thread, but while the horns are being discussed, I attached two audio files I recorded of the 1990 horns and the 1991-1994 horns I connected to my car.

Here is what a low tone 1990 horn looks like (86520-50010):

And here is the low tone horn from a 1991-1994 LS (86520-50060):

These were changed, because the original horns (50010) were deemed to be too quiet.

Great resource thanks for sharing. I agree, the first horn is too quiet. I had the same horn on my 1989 Camry, its way too quiet! glad they increased it for later on.

For the radio, my solution was to install a signal converter. It just installs inline between the antenna and radio.

Amazon Amazon

It bumps frequency of the station down 20Mhz, so now I can get 96.0-110.0.

Also, looks like those floral mats are the ones I have in mine. I had no idea they were that costly of an option.
