Climate Control - Clock Lights up Blank, No Climate Control

Climate Control - Clock Lights up Blank, No Climate Control
Hello, I'm new to the forum but I searched the whole site and couldn't find my problem anywhere. I just bought a 1993 LS400,149K, Runs Great, but the climate control is messed up. The clock display and temp. display light up but the don't show anything. Seems like the LED works, but doesn't show any numbers. None of the A/C or Heat, defrost or any of the buttons function. I pulled one out of a car at the pick n pull, plugged it in and same thing!!
... I'm thinking it might be the wiring.. anyone have any ideas? Also would be great if I could find a wiring diagram for the climate control. My neighbor said he would help me if I find the wiring diagram. It's the denso one with the two plug harnesses in the back.

very common problem on the 1st gen ls.

Yeah I see a lot of posts about the led problem. Thanks for the link. I saw that one. It's more of a problem with the climate control, because none of the buttons even work. I got a new climate control and radio on eBay for $75 including shipping,that the seller says work. So I'm gonna try that and then I will know it's a wiring or other problem, if those don't work. Thanks for your help.
