Techinfo.toyota Issues
I created an account an paid. Every time I log on it makes me create a new password, which I do, only to be taken back to the login screen where I need to create a new password. I cant view any documents at all.
I have used 2 different search engines to do this,. It doesnt work AT ALL on google chrome.

Hi guys. I managed to get onto them and they sorted it out. Was a server error. All good now.
Well time to start the process of manually downloading a billion pdfs.

Keep in mind that the PDFs may be be timed. I say this because I downloaded a bunch from techinfo but a week later they disappeared. All of them. My computer's always perfect and nothing else was affected.
Next time I will open them on the computer and take pictures of the important stuff with my phone.

thanks mate.
Ill make sure I save them securely. The site itself is completely horrible. Every time I want to log in I need to reset my password. It crashes frequently. Its a complete joke really.

Yea its worth it for sure. I am thinking about buying a gs300 soon so I might as well snag all that info too. Issue is, if they are timed access pdfs, ill need to reformat all of them after I have them....Did not know that was an issue.

I'm not 100 percent sure they are, but mine disappeared and I'm not exactly a computer idiot.
It's the first time anything's magically disappeared from my machine. And it was just the PDFs. Maybe someone else can chime in here.

Those who have lost content, do you have "show hidden & system files" enabled?
Granted the technology exists but I would think this would be disclosed by TIS in the fine print. As I get bored this winter I guess I'll see for myself. From a copyright standpoint they have lost a lot do to web hosting/share services so it doesn't seem impossible that they would take action. I find it hard to beleive they would tho when they could disable Save As or Save to PDF and stop the average user right there.
So, if the files atrributes toggle to hidden or system file, they may remain on the box until the bin is emptied. Or if they change the rights or somehow flag it as a cached file, then the system could delete... Beyond that I could see the file being on the box but encrypted and unable to be read.
For any new saves, check the attributes and consider rolling back time. Maybe they can be read again??

I just downloaded all the LS400 pdfs a month or two ago and they're all still functioning, so I don't think they're timed. I did have the same password issues though, eventually it seemed to resolve itself and I was able to get in.

Good. I don't know what the hell happened to mine then. They weren't hidden, they weren't in the recycle bin, they were simply gone one day. Well, I guess I'll find out next time I need tech info.

I feel bad about the false alarm. I thought I was saving you some trouble, but I may have actually caused you undue trouble. That's the way it goes sometimes, I guess.
I wonder what the hell happened to mine, then.
Thanks for the follow-up!
