Default toggle switch on console for high/low

I have this switch and my car has gone low on the back end. What is this switch for and what does it mean if it goes to low by itself? I DO love my 1997 LS 400 coach!!! Thanks for any info in advance!!

The switch would be for the height setting on the OEM air suspension. If it's low in the back there might be a problem with the air suspension, which is a rather expensive repair operation- rear shocks for the earlier cars are something like $800 per shock to my knowledge, and the fronts are even more. It may be time to look into a conventional suspension conversion kit, which is a far more cost effective repair. Are there any unusual lights on, or anything like that?

Thats why I ditched the idea of the air suspension in my celsior. Better off with shocks.

Sometimes having a side go low is caused by the bracket for the height position sensor breaking, the fix is to either replace it or weld it. Not a very expensive fix.

That's good information to have, I hadn't heard that before. Mine's still going strong for the time being...
