Exclamation ECU replacement (1994 LS400)

I need to replace my ECU ( 89661-50151-84 ). How can I find a company with a remanufactured one that has rebuilt it with ALL NEW capacitors?

I'd try Tanin first they are good to deal with. There are other out fits too. Tanin supports this web site.

I think you Tanin guys should add fixing and or offering parts and info on fixing the LS400 Pioneer and Nakamichi systems. Since I don't think there is anyone offering to fix them.

Down the road, we may add more services but we do actually have LS400 Nakamichi radios for sale if customers want to contact us. As customer interest increases, we do add services but so far, there hasn't been enough interest in repairs on the LS400, not to mention the cost involved in the repairs being a deterrent.

I found one I think.
But why is the term ECM and ECU seem to be used interchangeably when I've been in the shop or on the phone with folks.
Am I purchasing the correct thing?

car stalls when I try to accelerate to abruptly. two different shops confirmed that it is not the Throttle Position Sensor...but problems with the ECM. Do I need to be very specific with the unit I need to purchase (ECM or ECU)? or is it one total computer system encompassing both?
