Default Foiled again

After applying reflective foil to the light pockets of the trunk light, glove box footwell and door panel lighting assemblies, I decided to tackle the sun visor vanity lighting.

The visor lighting is respectable and Toyota paid attention here...not much room for improvement unless lighting placed on both sides of mirror. Start by remooving this plastic cover....it snaps out easily. Backside of plastic cover is pictured to show plastic lances.
Disconnect the plastic connector from body harness...obviously don't pull on wires.
Plastic lense snaps out from bottom with a gentle nudge of your Lexus issue screwdriver.
Before application of high temperature outdoor rated aluminum foil.
Toyota used white plastic for light pocket..much .better reflectivity than black or gray used in other light assemblies but aluminum foil offers further improvement..

Foil appliedVery slight improvement in uniformity but could not coax the camera to capture and show it...

The results barely justified the time and effort for something used so infrequently.

Toyota should have used this same bulb for the trunk light....and possibly door panel lighting...
