Default OBD2 scan tool for iphone5c

Has anyone used one of these cheap OBD2 wi-fi scan tools for an iphone5 ?
They're really cheap on ebay... Any good for a '98 LS400 ?

Is an Australian LS400 OBD-II compatible?
My JDM is not. Many non North American models aren't so.

I haven't used the wifi one, but I did buy a fairly cheap scan tool off of amazon that works well for about 20 bucks. Here's the link if you are interested.

I also chose the android version and picked up a cheap Galaxy tab pro off CL to use with it.
The difference is the android version supports the simpler bluetooth connection while the iphone uses the wifi connection.
I also had the cheap amazon code reader, but the bluetooth wit the android app is so much more powerful for about the same $$s, if you already have the android tablet/phone. I can be outside the car or in the engine area and still read codes/gages/sensors. Pretty nice tool set up.

Bluetooth readers are about $13 from amazon and the App is free to about $5 depending in your preference.

Maybe I was wrong about bluetooth and IOS hookups to OBDII

I use one with the torque app on android. I'm sure they have an iphone equivalent.
