Default How to access inner tail lights

Trying to change my tail lights out for led in my 92 LS400 did the corner turn signals not sure how to get to the ones on the trunk lid I know u can open that little cover to access the bulbs but how do you take the light assembly off any help asap would be great thanks!

Remove the cover clips and pull the cover back, you'll see the nuts that tighten the inner tails down.

May have to just remove the lid inner panel. First the little metal clips inside those flap windows, I start at the front driver corner put hand behind and work it off.

I got it thanks guys was pretty straight forward and easy I just wanted to double check so I didn't mess things up only took about 30min to take it off change out both and put it back together probably could replace them in about half that now that I have done it thanks for the help I'll post some pics

Im pretty happy with the final product just changing out the rest of the lights to LED the turn signal and reverse lights are red and the tail lights defiantly do not look orange like in this pic i will post another pic when its dark with the LEDS and one with the turn signals and reverse lights let me know what you guys think

Looks like its in really good shape, and no bumper scratches nice. So was the LS400 on the trunk lid part of the gold option? So did you need to remove the inner panel?

Yea it's the gold option just removed the liner on the trunk lid it was simple took 30 seconds just didn't want to rip it off not knowing if their was something I needed to do first thanks man appreciate the compliment!

Wasn't 100% sold on the red clear I have read a few things on here about people not liking them but I really like the way it turned out!
