different regions use different VIN specifications. If the car was an original UK car (or currently registered there) you could try the DVLA's vehicle enquiry service: https://www.vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk/ as registration is tied to the number plate rather than the vin. the VIN should appear on the rego and confirm.
When ran against a UK/Euro compliant VIN check site, your car comes up as a petrol powered Toyota LS400 in dark green. Example: http://www.autodna.com/vin/JT153UF2000118724
Stop using US vin check sites and you'll find results just fine.

Have you tried that site that is for people who are do-it-yourself enthusiasts and own toyotas? (can't post a link or name here, it gets blocked) They seem to have a pretty good idea about VINs... and should tell you if yours is valid.
