Thanks. I'll try and find the little swine. Looks like under the throttle body somewhere.

This car is really hacking me off now...

In concert with it's normal party tricks it's now decided that when it does decide it wants to run (usually only ever from stone cold) it also wants to clatter loudly like an old tractor, then drops the RPM to a stall over 30 seconds.

In other news camshaft sensor appears to be responsive and produces the expected waveform (at the time of testing).

Have removed and checked the oil control valve to see if that was affecting the timing. Seems fine.

Struggling to think now what could be causing all 4 cylinders on OS bank to not run.

Default 1996 ls400 no igt1 signal

Tested the igt1 signal and I’m only getting mV. Repaired the ecu and I’m having the same p1300 code. All bank 1 spark plug coils are not sparking and I’m getting Voltage from the ignition coils

The code P1300 alone is mostly caused by the strange signal from the crank position sensor or the cam position sensor. The confirmation needs to use an oscilloscope. Observe waveforms and compare with this below. A missing pulse, an unusual additional pulse or unexpected noises often cause the code P1300.
