1UZ swap looking for new dif setup
Hey guys, ive just finished my project of swapping a 1st gen 1uzfe into an 87 supra. looking to find out some info on what I would need in regards to the differential to get a better gear ratio for the car. right now I sit at about 4000 rpm @ 80mph, no bueno haha. any info is greatly appreciated, thanks!
running with oem w58 and original drivetrain btw.

I'm guessing you had an original 7m-ge car with the w58? If so you should have a 4.30:1 rear end, which is why your gearing is so high.
an '89-92 Supra Turbo Manual (R154) car should have a 3.73 clutch pack LSD diff as standard (in the US) that should bolt in and drop your rear end ratio to make it taller and drop cruising RPM by about 5-600 at speed.
The guys at supraforums and supramania (for more mk3 centered info) are probably a better source than here.
