Default idk i searched but i cannot get a straight answer about lsd

hopefully soon im doing a 2jzgte/v160 swap and right now i have a 5spd tranny thats driving me nuts, thats y im going v160. knowing that im doing a 6spd swap, im also going lsd as well. i know the auto TT lsd from a supra fits for the w58 and fits in the pumpkin fine, but would i run into any problems with the v160?

far as gearing..its hard to tell. The W58 is matched to the 4.08 rear

If you drop to a 3.76 rear with a V160 that was matched to a 3.23 rear gear from the factory I'd say that in every gear your going to be at a lot higher rpm's than you would with the 3.23 rear.

clear as mud

Actually, this is discussed and documented, you just didn't find it. I remember the V160 with 3.76 rear is less than desirable. You need to search supraforums and you should find the thread I'm talking aboutt hat goes into detail.

you will want the manual TT differential. it is less rare and cheaper than the auto TT one anyways. you may need an axle (was it drivers side?) and the driveshaft as well.
