Default Cat converter, exhaust leak, or egr tube?

This coming week I plan to take my car a muffler shop to have it looked at. I suspect I might need a catalytic converter for the driver side. Check engine light just came on and the codes are p0430 or 420 one of them, p0125, and p0441. I think p0125 and p0441 might be ghost codes. As for p0125 I did replace my thermostat with a OEM one and I replaced the ECT with one from AutoZone about 40k miles ago. Car is 97 with 189k with original cats and o2 sensors.

Car symptoms: when I start the car from cold start it makes a weird noise, wanna sound like a car you try crank but won't turn over, it stops completely once I put it in D or the engine reached operating temp. Once on the road the car is quite as usual. Also on hwy when I give it acceleration only in driver seat you can very slightly hear and feel a roar, like I have an aftermarket exhaust, its barely noticeable. The good news I still get 23-25 mpg on hwy.

Couple of questions..
1. What's a better brand on RockAuto Walker or Eastern catalytic converters??
2. I do have two new Bosch upstream 02 sensors in garage. I know Denso is best but RockAuto website says Bosch is O.E manufacturer. If I do replace cats I would slap these on too. These should be okay right??

Lastly over past 5 years I owned this car, I did let it idle a lot only to let it warm up especially in winters. I see why the manual says "do not let engine idle over 30mins".

Sorry for long post.

Default Walker or Eastern?

Thanks sha, I believe the Boschs will work fine.

Are there any club members using either walker or Eastern catalytic converters? Pleas post feed back, is the car louder, quite, how long have they held up? I really think I need a new cat.

the factory cats are extremely long lived and unless you've melted them from dumping raw fuel into the exhaust they are most likely NOT the issue.

Compare the O2 waveform across banks, and make absolutely certain you don't have any exhaust leaks.
