I have to replace my mounts on my 2000. Did you use oem or aftermarket mounts. How long did it take? the mechanic i went to wants to charge me for 4 hours of labor.

Well, at 165k I must REALLY be due.
No obvious vibration or noise problems and my trans mount is original as well.
Strange that the mounts have no provision to keep engine secure once cusion is worn/broken.

I put in OEMs as they are cheap and should last fine.
Mine also was cracked on the passenger side (?) .
Easy way to tell is rev the engine with the brake on and listen for the thump when you release as the engine sits back down.

engine mounts
when you replaced the mounts did you have to replace the engine stabilizer or just the mounts themselves. Also how did the aftermarket mounts from ebay fit? im still deciding if it is worth it to get the oem mounts.
Thanks

just the engine mounts, and they look and fit the same.
on my SRB's I used OEM $91. from Park Place (I live close to them, no shipping$), but I ordered polyurethane bushings from mybushings.com for my 99, just to see the difference, they were $84, shipped.
