Default I bought my first LS!

I found an absolute gem two days ago, immediately drove to Dallas & picked it up before anyone else had a chance to even look at it. '99 Alpine Silver, factory HIDs & wood package, 153k, absolutely mint. I bought it from an elderly couple who bought it from Sewell in 1999, had it serviced at Sewell every few thousand miles, and treasured it as much as I will. I have fallen head over heels with this thing!

Seriously though. Can't ride with my friends anymore. Rock hard seats & stiff suspensions are things I can't do anymore.

Did you get the one out of Cleburne they were asking $5900 for on CL? Saw that but could not break away from work to go look. Looked like a really nice specimen. Glad it went to someone who will take care of it. Congratulations and welcome to the club.

just checked out the pictures, looks great! driving on the highway in this car you're gonna be thankful for that valentine one he he he... take this car past 100 (it honestly might even get smoother) on an empty freeway and you'll really start to wonder why it's so illegal...

as you can see from the other dark LS you're with in the pics, the next step is NEW WHEELS!!!

Congrats on a great find. I found my LS in Dallas too, a year ago. I call her the Texas Lexus. She's a silver 2000 owned by an elderly woman who bought it at Sewell, had all her service done at Sewell, and traded it back in to Sewell 14 years later. I bet she's driving a 460 now.

I flew one-way to Dallas and drove it back to MD, and it was absolutely worth the trip. Southern cars generally haven't seen snow and salt!

That's why I love Arizona!

OP, great purchase! I just picked up a '99 a few weeks ago and they drive so smooth don't they? Enjoy!

How did you post this? I'm trying to post a question about where to find a service manual for my LS460, and I can't figure out the new post link. I can only find replies, and there's no help link, and the how-to link goes to a broken page. Please, please, please, please, I beg you please, tell me how you were able to post something in this forum.
