MY driver door on my 92 Lexus LS 400 will not open!!! I got out of the car one day, locked the car, went into the store, came out and it wont open from the inside or the outside. im not exactly sure what I need to push or pull on to get the door open. it would be a great help if someone could post a few pics of the actuator\door locking mechanism. ive never worked on a lexus, but cant be that hard. I have the window down, and trim off and have been playing with it trying to open it with a coathanger but unsure of exactly what releases the latch. any help is appreciated!

Yeah not a fun deal. I know that the actuator rod is pushed down to unlatch it. It will be a mess working on that having it not open. If it was me I'd be taking out the 2 front seats to take the door panel off.

What year is that door? The one PDF was a 96, the OP's is a 92, I opened a door of a 91 at a wrecking yard by pushing down on one of the linkage rods that went to the outside door handle. I don't know if the newer ones are the same.
