Unhappy Loosing the faith

I have a 99 ES that I have loved for a few years now so I decided to buy a 93 LS since everybody talks about how they love them. But I am quickly loosing the faith on this one.

I got the timing belt, water pump, cam & crank seals and v-blet, plus other rings changed 2 days ago and now the car is leaking water or something? Now alot but a more than it should be.

I went under it to see if I could see where it was leaking from and really couldn't tell. But I did notice a couple of small pieces of ice that fell of on the ground????

It is 60 here today and I am NOT running the air. Is it possible that changing the timing belt+ is causing something to freeze up?

I can't figure out were it is coming from, I noticed in front of the raidiator on the bottom in the middle there is a little compressor looking deal that was froze over and leaking water??

It is also low on raidator fluid, not much just a few ounces. The dealership said it is probally just air pockets and just to top it. Well I have had to add about 3-6 oz 3 times over the past 2 days?

Gawd, this car is driving me nuts. Everytime I take it to Lexus to get one thing fixed, two things break

Dude, that's your air conditioning. It is supposed to leak water, Every car does it one way or another.

When you buy a used car, you don't know what you're going to get unless you are the 2nd owner and knew the 1st owner very well. That goes for any make of car, even Lexus. Sometimes owners heavily abuse their cars and you'd never know by a quick once over look. Also, some cars break down more than others. Just luck of the draw. Your car is 10 years old, so you can't expect it to run like the day it was new. As for the leaks, just take it back to the dealer and explain the problems. I'm sure they'll repair it for no charge since it wasn't leaking before you took it in. BTW, did you ever get your electrical glitch repaired? If so, what was the problem & what was replaced?

I know it's gonna run like new, I just don't want it leaking and spewing all over the place

What bothers me is the mechanic was rushing to get it done by 5:30 and I am afraid he just through it all back together and didn't check everything.

The car only has 95,000 miles on it. My 99 ES has 70,000 on it and runs like the day I bought it.

Like you said, luck of the draw I guess.

The electrical problem is 3 of the 4 door pin switches (courtesy lights) are malfunctioning. So, the car has no idea if the doors are open or closed. Just toggels in between. Dealership said they could order the part and it would take at most 2 days. That was 8 days ago and they still don't even know if they are coming

It's not the air, It is like 50-60 here and I am not running the air. Car didn't leak like that until I had the timing belt/water pump replaced. Impossible to tell where it is leaking from because only appears to leak when it is running and the fans are throughing the water all over the place.

Sounds to me that they didn't tighten up enough your thermostat housing or your water pump.
