Hey Guys,

Got a question. Just installed BC coilovers and need to lower rear left by 1/2 in. and need to raise front right by 1/4 in. My question is, when I lower the rear left by 1/2 in., will it naturally raise the front right by as much as 1/4 in.? Thanks for any info, as I am new to this stuff.

it will raise it some, not exactly though.

yes there will be some height compensation but not by much as PD stated.

Thanks, PD and Timmy... How much do you think the front right will raise after I lower the rear left by 1/2 in.? I don't know if this may help your estimate, but it's a 1st Gen with 14K/10K BCs and currently the front left 26 1/4; front right 26; rear left 27 and rear right 26 1/2. Goal is have fronts at 26 1/4 ans rears 26 1/2. Thank you..

There isn't really an accurate way to guess... the best thing to do is go around the car and adjust, measure, adjust, measure etc.

just do 2 turns on the coilover and see. jordanf is right, you just need to adjust then measure. also make sure your tire pressures are ok and you're measuring on level ground.

Thanks, Guys...I was hoping their is an exact method, as I was hoping I could get away with just lowering the rear left. Great advice on tire pressure and level ground. I also forget garage floors are purposely slanted. Any instructions on how to post pic? Thx.
