most UCF2x coils will not fit, the exception being the Megans as they were actually made/proto'd on UCF10s.
EZs ride alright, and will get you reasonably low. If you want to be very low in the rear you'll need to go BC/F&F/PBR/Stance/etc....

This is entirely subjective, but they have been referred to as "slightly stiffer than stock."
You can slam with them, but for that, you would have to adjust the preload, which could end up making the ride a lot more bouncy. In other words, you sacrifice ride quality for ride height.
This gives you an idea of how low you can go with them (UCF20 on 18" IS350 wheels):

So when slamming the rear it'll be stiff/bouncy or bouncy like having a blown shock? I would like to slamm my car but I don't want my car to be twerking over every bump. Lol. Rilly I would love to get some BC Coils and damn near lay frame, but someone is selling UCF20 Megan EZs for $500. Seems like a good deal for starters to just get my car outa 4x4 land.

slamming the rear will feel more bouncy as you'll have to drop the lower spring perch to get the car lower. usually you would just adjust the length of the coilover for ride height, never touching the spring perches. since megan shock cartridges are too long, you will need to touch the perches to get the car lower (not ideal).

Hmm... I'm also looking at Ksport and BC coils. I know BC has a hella good rep sheet, but what about the KSPORTS. I havnt heard much about them. And if I plan to daily grind my ride maby 3" off the ground, what spring rate would be ideal. I already know about cutting a hole for the upper controle arm when sitting that low.

i've seen a lot of coilovers and i can say that BC and ksports are very similar to each other. in my opinion ksports got a bad rap due to abuse or misuse. most coilovers come set to the lowest setting so they fit in the box! most folks just throw them on the car out of the box which leads them to do improper adjustments. then they blame the company for poor craftsmanship.
china-made coilovers have come a long way for sure, with customizable damping and spring rates (BC) but if you put them to on a shock dyno i'm sure they will all perform the same! the adage still applies: "you get what you pay for".

In my exp, ksport fail within 1-2 years.
I put them on par with racelands in the VW world, they just charge a lot more.
Good example of the quality: I had 3 customers buy Ksports in a GB a few years ago, all for different cars and set at different ride heights. The only thing in common was the climate/conditions they were used in. To the car, all 3 blew at least one shock within 1.5 years. Crappy batch, maybe. But general trend up hear is Ksports won't last >2years. That doesn't even consider that the perches seize and are very difficult to break free with the dinky little wrenches they give you.
I will never recommend Ksports to anyone.... So many better choices for less or comparable prices.

I gess I'm going with BC coils most likely. I don't mind driving low. my last car was an 02 eclipse GT and only had about 3" clearance up front and maybe 5" in back. If I start scraping ill just drive slower. The only crappy road I need to worry about I don't drive on very far as its the route I take to get to school and I live 2 miles away. going slow will just lower my chances even further of getting a speeding ticket... LOL. now I'm just debating between 18x9.5 +12, 18x11 +15, 19x9.5 +12 or 19x11 +15. its a hard disission.

i love my BC extreme drop kit. 16k front 12k rear spring rates. mine for 995 shipped from Circuit motorsports. took FOREVER to get them but other then that all good. ive been able to lay frame quite easily with them and they ride great. i have since raised it back up but still ride pretty low.

So 16k F and 12k R still rides fairly good and not stupid stiff? I'm not trying to make a track car out*of this, I just want the absolute WOW factor. I'm even debating having a license plate made that says STPD LO, or WAY2LOW. Maybe even LOASFK... LOL.
