Need a part # and advice
Thanks in advance for all replies. I need a part # for the sunroof control/dome light. I've been working part time on Sunroof for quite some time and have read all the sunroof threads on the net and have gotten my sunroof partly working. the dome light works but the tilt button does not. The back/forth switch works but it slides the roof back and forth as well as up and down. Maybe the motor needs to be calibrated and I've tried to do it on my own with no success. I actually bought a complete sunroof from the junkyard and swapped motors with the same result and that's why I'm thinking it is the controls. Anyway I would like to get another switch to see if it fixes that particular issue.
Secondly, I snapped 2 of the bolts that attach the coil packs to the engine leaving part of the bolt threaded in engine. I don't particularly trust myself to try to drill them out since it is a aluminum block and there's not enough bolt sticking out to try to grab with some grips. I also don't want some shop damaging my block trying to get it out either so what do you guys think is my best option here?

Definitely sticky.... as far as the bolt, you might try a super small drill bit to dig in some then actually turn it by hand and maybe it'll come out (no damage to engine, turn slowly.)
sunroof pn? I'd say call sewell or at least try to look at their parts site. maybe it's there.

Update: I found one on ebay and right here in NYC and won the auction for $25 so I'm glad it;s not going to cost me alot to run my test. If this does not work I'm going to just take it to a place I found that says they specialize in sunroof repair. I will update soon.
