My 91LS interior roof light does not turn on when the trunk is opened, however, my 90LS does. I looked at the circuit diagram and could not find any supporting circuit for such feature. Could anyone with 91LS check if your car has that feature?

 

Just checked. My interior light doesn't go on when the trunk is open.

Does your instrument panel give any indication that the trunk is opened? Mine doesn't! The last indication that I got when my trunk was opened was from the driver of the car next to mine. It would be a poor engineering if such warning feature was removed in 91LS. :eek:
Can anyone else with 91LS or 92LS confirm my suspicion?

Nope, my '91 LS doesn't show any indication that the trunk is open either (running or not).

 

no lights and no trunk indication light

 

1990 - Nope. Open trunk,no interior light comes on.
