Default Who's owned their LS400 the longest?

I bought my 98 in December 2001 as a CPO with 48k miles on it. Now has 240,500 miles. Despite the inevitable minor age related problems, it's still bulletproof and I still love it as much as I did the day I took delivery. Except for a recent head unit upgrade, and worn parts repaired or replaced (alternator) it's still 100% stock.

Who are the other long term owners? Who's had his the longest?

Good topic.

Bought this '97 in 10-2002 with 58K on it. Just a few ticks past 180K miles.

I bought an LS400 new in early 1990 and sold it in late 2003. A few months before I sold the 90 LS in 2003, I bought a low mileage 2000 LS400 just after it came off someone else's 36 month lease. I'm still driving the 2000 which just had it's "birthday" - it's "in-service date" was 07/31/2000 and was about 208(?) from the last LS400 made.

So ... I guess I've racked up 23 1/2 years and well over 300,000 miles driving LS400's.

Think we all knew Kansas would be the winner here.

Just 3 years for me but already looking forward to a newer one later.

Kansas definitely dominates us on total ownership of the LS400 model... pretty hard to beat a guy who's owned them since the first year they were introduced!

But I think I'm still the leader on ownership of my current LS400, since Kansas made a switch in 2003

Kansas is the winner, but I still drive the '91 LS400 I bought new on 19 Aug 1991.

I wish I had caught on to these sooner... I did switch from Pontiac to Toyota in 1998...but didn't get on the Lexus wagon until 2010... but don't think I didn't want to. I was a slow starter but moved fast. In the immediate family we now have 3 430's and one 400... just sold the 95 LS400 with 141k miles on it last night to a another family member. So, while I started late, I have purchased 6 total LS'... don't see me buying anything else.... but not looking forward the the 460 move.... those just don't appeal to me.

No Gene, you have to be the winner. 22 years with one LS400 is INCREDIBLE.

I might be driving my previous 90 LS today if it had better headlights. The only reason I moved on was that I could not see to drive the 90 LS at night.

I've posted it many times over the years, but here again is a 2003 photo of "the twins". People who didn't know Lexus thought my 90 LS was a new car when I sold it in late 2003.

164K miles - gently used. Timing Belt replaced at 130K and looked almost new.

Great pic of the twins!
