Look at the bottom of each headlight lens. If you have HID, it says D2R. If you have halogen, it says HB2. Why are you replacing your headlights? If the lenses are foggy and cruddy they can be restored to like new by using a restoration kit - generally $20 to $30.

98 and up lens are plastic? Of all the goofy regulations the NHTSA (or whatever it's called) put out, they should of made it ILLEGAL to make plastic headlights!!

Agree with YoshiMan... never should have switched... sure it was money and weight that caused the switch...but nothing but problems later an as the plastic is too cheap and yellows in the sun....

I consider plastic headlight lenses a significant improvement. I had a number of glass headlight lenses broken by kicked up rocks in my 1,000,000 miles of driving but never a plastic lens. Plastic lenses can usually be restored to like new condition with a $20-$30 kit and a few minutes of time.
