Need help!!! Doesn't start after throttle body cleaning
Hello, I just cleaned my throttle body per the instructions on lexls.com. I just put everything back together and now when I try and crank the car it just makes a thud like the battery is dead or doesn't have enough power to turn the motor over. I used valvoline throttle body cleaner and cleaned out inside the throttle body and intake really good. I used about 2 cans of it. The battery has never been an issue and was just trickle charged. The battery was disconnected the entire time I was working on the car. Thanks for any help and suggestions!!!!
Sorry, 92 LS400 113500 miles.

Reason: descriptive title
I hope you didn't use two cans of cleaner with the manifold in place! If you did, it's almost certain that it ran down inside one or more cylinders. You would have created hydro-lock, and even busted a cylinder head if your starter had more power, or had fired up right away. If you are trying to clean the manifold in-place, it is absolutely necessary to pull the plugs and crank the starter several seconds to blow that stuff out before putting the plugs back in..

That sounds like what happened. I removed the piece (not sure what it's called) per lexls instructions. I would say I cleaned inside the manifold with almost a can of the throttle body cleaner. I did wipe it out with rags after heavy spraying and alot ran back out onto rags I placed on top of the motor. I did try and crank it right after getting everything re assembled and that's when it made the clunk sound. I let it sit for about an hour and it turned over like normal. Took a few seconds to fire up. Drove the car today and it seems to run fine.
