ignition wont turn

Default ignition wont turn

started workin on my 93 ls400 last summer had to take the dash a part.got everything put back together now the ignition wont turn.why? can someone please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

did you check the steering wheel lock...?

Yeah try twisting the steering wheel while turning the key.

Did you check the key lock solenoid? Is it functioning properly? If not, you'd better to check fuses.
Fuses that cause the problem of no function of the key lock solenoid are either 1 or more of fuses below.
rear cigaret lighter,
electronics IG,
stop lamp -S,
meter.

well i finally got to go work on my baby and it was just the steering lock turned it while turning key and there u have it thanks everyone.this is my first lexus i got it for 500$ cuz the guy didnt want to take the time to find a short so i figured y not save this car hopefully i will be driving it this summer
