no.

with substantial modification anything can fit but that doesn't mean it will work properly at all.

The one guy i know of that modded and ran mk3 coils later became the only LS400 owner i ever knew to blow his driver and passenger airbags from the a-arms smacking into the shock towers so hard.

Aka dengman iirc. Idk but i would rather run coils meant for the car. I believe you will have to sand down the top mounting holes in order for them to fit.

18k fronts... pretty stiff.. I daily drive it too. not sure if anyone has 20k here in the states. Air seems to be the trend..

who ever bought vincents PBM coils better drill the holes in the tower.. Or they will pop an air bags like me.

actually the stiffer the rate for a properly designed coil the less likely the arms are to hit the tower, the spring rate will resist the motion far more effectively. There's a couple guys in AZ running the Tanabe Super Low Down high spring rate (20kg/mm+) coilovers without issue for the past couple years, but those were made for UCF2x cars.

pretty certain the dampers I have are identical size shape as the ones made for the ucf. the dampers are designed "valved" to work with the spring rate. Its usually the top hat and lower mount that changes between the different vehicles. If the overall length of damper and stroke works with X- applications they probably will use the same damper for many different cars.

they do have much shortened shock bodies to facilitate getting the car lowered, yes.

I want a much stiffer ride for my ls.. I've already cut out the whole big enough to where my control arm only hits if I drop into a deep pot whole.

So buy custom valved BC Racing/Tanabe/PBM. All 3 companies make LS400 coilovers.

best bet is BC its goes low and you can order custom dampening and spring rate for free
PBM you have to pay
