Default 91 LS400 AC question

I brought my car to my friends shop, Tire Works, and he connects his AC machine to my car. It does a pressure check to see if it has any leaks. The machine says that my car passes. The AC was cold, but only for a couple of days. Now it just blows whatever the ambient air temperature is.

My friend says that the machine puts pressure into the AC system and checks for a pressure drop within ~15 minutes.

I can hear an RPM change in the engine when I turn on/off the AC. So I know the compressor still kicks on.

Anyone else have this problem?

I've tried searching and so far I've concluded that maybe it could be leaking at the evaporator?

I'm bring my car to my friends shop again and we're going to put some dye in it to see if there are any leaks and maybe the machine was wrong.

Besides turning the AC on and off to hear a change in the RPM's, I have not checked physically under the hood yet.

Update: Got the car recharged at a friend's work and it has been over a week and there is still cold AC. Still stumped on why when I had it charged the first time it was gone only after 2-3 days, so maybe my friend who did it the first time charged it incorrectly. But all I know is I have cold AC here in Vegas and it feels great lol.
