Default proud new owner

Didn't know where else to post so thought I would post in here. So I have finnally moved on in life and got a new car. I used to own a 2001 civic, some of you may have already seen it

I just traded it the other night. The car was a good car and I had tons of plans for it but in the end, it just wasn't taking to my style very well. It needed paint badly along with lots of other things and I just got tired of dumping money into it....so I traded for this(fog lights are already gone.lol)

this is by far the best car ive ever owned and I can't wait to dig into this chassis and learn more about it. I already have lots of plans for it including bags and silly wide 18s.

Thanks man! Yea, it's super clean for a 95. Has all paper work for maintenance, only has one small dent in the rear passenger quarter panel right above the bumper and that's it. Interior is a little cracked up front but the rear is still in tact. I seriously could not be happier!

looks good and welcome to the club.
Good choice on removing those fog lights.
The led strips or L shaped lights, I have always though would look good in the bumper somewhere. But those circular ones... no thanks.

Was this a straight trade?
how many miles on the ls?
and what was kbb value on the civic if you dont mind?

Yea, it was a straight trade and he threw me 500 cash on top. The ls has 182,xxx and my civic did as well. The civic needed so many things and my dedication to building a VIP car was not working with the civic so I just switched up. I miss my car but I Love the Lexus so much, such a nice car

You will find that the ls needs as many parts in the suspension as the civic needed all around, but it sounds like you got the better end of the deal.
As far as vip goes, a stock ls400 is more vip than a civic can ever be and with upgrades the ls400 will make you very happy in the long run.

Its too bad the wheels on your civic were wont fil the ls. Ive seen a ucf20 with those exact wheels and it was pretty impressive

Yea man, I'm actually looking at a set of 19x9, 19x10 euroline dh wheels(my old wheels) and I was just planning on replacing the spring with a uas bag and calling it a day. I've heard of cutting stuff for upper control arm clearance?
