Exclamation antenna help

my antenna was up and has never come down since i bought my 1990 ls 400, six months ago. I got a new antenna ans replaced it. Now the new antenna will not go up. I am wondering where the problem might be. Is it a power thing from the head unit, a fuse, where should i start? Also i replaced the coolant resevior because the original had a slight leak. Ive been driving around for short periods the last couple of hours and have noticed the temperature gauge is running a little high. There is no signs of a leak now. I am wondering if its because the coolant is very fresh, or something. Any help is appreciated

do you hear the antenna motor turn on when you turn on the radio? it could be that your antenna mast is broken again or misaligned to the teeth/gears of the motor.

as for your coolant problem i would check your coolant level at the reservoir (when cold). i had this problem before and i simply bled the whole system once more. this was after a water pump replacement however. see below, last few steps.

The automatic adjusting of antenna length is normal.

How do I check if it's the radio, or is there a fuse specific to the antenna? I'm very new to this stuff, any help is appreciated!
