Default Low temperature reading gauge

For months my one would move only to the first line. Just above "c"

I tried 3 different temp senders.

At the time i believe it was the temp sender because when I grounded the plug the needle went all the way up.

So receiving my 3rd sender and putting it in and doing the same. I had an Apithany.

Sticky needle like the rest?

so what I did was grounded the plug over 20 times as in on and off.

Worked for me. Must of loosen up the needle. Now just sitting below half where it should be.

Hope this helps.

So happy.

mine sits right at the line that's under the invisible middle line, its been there forever. might consider changing the thermostat, sounds good? other members here has their temp needle sitting right a little above the line thats under the middle of the gauge

When I first tried it. I only did it I only earthed it about 6 times.
Plugged it in and it was only 1/4 of the way.

Then I thought well go all out. After 20 times. Must of loosened the needle.
Worked.

This worked for me. Honestly I am happy as.

Maybe the needle gets sticky over time? Some start to get lower and lower.

Hopefully this will help others too. Hopefully someone can try if they are having similary symptoms.

How do you ground it? I am experiencing the same issue.

Thanks for your help.
