Default which bilstein shocks do i use for 93 ls400

i cant seem to find the sticky or forum post for finding a part # of bilstein shocks for my 1993 ls400, which bilsteins would i use for the front and rear, what i google searched does not show up on bilsteins website. on bilstein the earliest year is 95, do they have something that will work? any rec's thx.... i want to use them for the lowering set rings!

they don't make them for 1st gen cars. no, they won't work properly on your car.

+1, your choices among the more popular offerings are Tokico HD Blues and KYB GR2.

I just installed four new KYB GR2 on my 93 LS. These KYB shocks will provide you with a bouncy and sporty feel. I recommend sticking with OEM if you want that original stock feeling (a more smooth ride as the LS is meant to be).

lol come back in a month and then report.

fresh shocks always feel stiff, and KYB makes the GR2 to SOFTER than factory spec (as well as making the OEM shocks in the first place...)

I am glad to hear this and thanks for the info. I look forward to a softer ride in the months ahead. The sporty feel is good in certain days, but usually I prefer the smoother ride.

I do miss my air shocks from 19 years ago, but my guess is they are too expensive to reinstall in my car again.
