Default Shocks

I just purchased a 2000 ls400. It has 113,000 miles on it. The man who sold it to me put new shocks but not very good. The car rides like a truck. He did front end work like bushings and such. What shocks to get the Lexus ride please?

A KYB GR2 would be the more common replacement for stock. The other with slightly firmer qualities would be the Bilstein.
