Hi, I'm quite new to this forum and I was hoping another member would have some answers . . . .

I need new shocks for my 1995 LS400 with the regular suspension (non-air setup). I currently have Eibach springs and I've recently noticed the ride has changed. So, I determined the next step would be shocks. However, I just realized that there are not too many suppliers.

Here's what I found:

Tokico lists HP shocks for the 1990 to 1994 model years. Does anyone know if the suspension changed along with the slight body change from 1994 to 1995?

Carparts.com lists the Tokico shocks to 1997. Is this accurate?

Bilstein does not make them.

KYB only makes the fronts.

Monroe makes them but what about the quality?

TRD?

Tein?

Any input would be appreaciated. Thank you.

Default Looking for shocks for 95 LS400

Hi,

I am also looking for replacement shocks for a 95 LS400 and I can't find anything besides oem! Everything is made for the first gen LS400.

If anyone knows any company that makes performnace shocks for the 95 LS400 please let me know.

I am looking for something stiffer than factory shocks for better handling.

Thanks

Ed

Default KYB shocks on 96 Lexus LS400

HI,

Did you notice a change in the ride with the KYb shocks?

I am looking for a firmer ride with better handling and cornering capability. how does the KYB shocks compare to the stock shocks?

BTW, How much did you pay for them?

Thanks

Edward

Default bilstein makes shocks for 95-200 LS400!

HI,

I just checked with shox.com and they confirmed that Bilstein does make performance shocks for 95-2000 LS400.

So I think I will go with them. I was quoted $419 + shipping for all 4.
