If I were you, I would check the voltage first. The new generator might be generating too high voltage for bulbs.

Yea the altenator was dishing out high voltage, that's why i replaced it, and everything is cool now, I think they blew out when I installed it, I forgot ti disconnect the battery..so I think that's wat happened when I connected the power cable.

Default flashers dnt work when head lights are on

i installed hid headlights and i switched my rear turning signal bulbs to led. everything works great but wen i turn on the headlights the hazard lights come on solid so i cant use my turning flashers. would a led flasher relay solve my problem or is it a more that i need 2 do?

You need to know at least these 2 points below before you act and bark.

1, Many aftermarket HID headlights are not properly designed to meet the EMI standard. In other words, they generate big noise up to the high end of VHF or even UHF and may cause interference problem.

2, LED turn signal lights consume less current and the original flasher relay is confused and flushes strangely.

There are countermeasures but I only can explain to those who understand the basic at least.
