Climate Control power problem - not the LCD!
Greetings all,
I have an Ezekiel Automotive rebuilt climate control with a new LCD panel in my 1992 LS400.
It worked for about a year and then started exhibiting what I might call failing capacitor symptoms:
At first it would take a few seconds for the unit to power on, then a minute.., kept progressing until several minutes, and now it won't turn on at all. Every few minutes the LEDs blink on and back off like it is trying.
I have a high-res image of the circuit boards if it helps. Is there a common power circuit that fails? A few traces look a little funny but not burned.
Contacting Ezekiel but I wanted to ping this off the forum since I am certain it is just out of warranty.
Thanks,
Benjamin
