Default "VSC Off" and "PWR ECT/SNOW" Switch Light

The light for my "VSC Off" and "PWR ECT/SNOW" burnt out. Anybody have experience removing the center console area to get to the bulb?

The PWR ECT/SNOW button doesn't have a bulb behind it. Either that or it's been burnt since 2003 on ours.... I've never removed the center console on the LS, but it should be the same on other cars I've removed it from, remove the ashtray to gain access to screws, then with the front part loose, you should be able to pop the clips that hold the rest of the wood panel in place. Do you have the Service manual?

VSC switch is easy, no idea on the ECT switch though, don't think it has a bulb

getting to it is straight forwards, you can follow the guide for the 1LS on LexLS, except instead of totally disassembling the shifter you only really need to unscrew the shift **** so it doesnt catch on the trim.

this is off ebay of the same vsc switch, for a '98

it's blurry but the white circle you see on top is the where the bulb goes.. it's either a t3 or t4 bulb, that's for sure.

while the shift pattern light is a T4 (iirc) i believe these switches are hybrid T1.5s, same as the cluster/radio/cc lighting, i think.
