Question Engine Mounts

Can anyone give me some advice in changing engine/tranny mounts on my '95 LS. I Love to work on my car whenever I have the time, I 'm try to avoid takin' it to a shop. Thanks!!!

What's up Jbrady!

When I start the engine I feel a knock, rev @ about 2k rpm or in drive mode I feel a vibration.

hmm. open up the hood, start the engine, step as hard as you can on the brakes (make sure there are no cars parked anywhere near you), and slowly step on the gas while you are in various gears, well actually D and R. your engine should tilt up or tilt back depending on what gear, but if it looks like your whole engine just lifts up, i think you need new mounts. this method isnt failproof but its cheap, quick and easy.
